Sanzienele: European Folk Costumes Throughout the 19th Century. Join Scoala Romaneasca Nicolae Iorga Liverpool for a beautiful exploration of European cultural heritage! Step back in time to discover the rich tapestry of European folk costumes from the 19th century. This special exhibition celebrates both the unique beauty of Romanian traditional dress and the fascinating similarities and differences between European countries in the east and centre of Europe. Children will paint traditional Romanian costumes whilst seeing a wonderful curated collection of folk costumes from Eastern and Central European countries. Through art, music, and dance, we'll explore how our cultures connect and celebrate what makes each tradition special. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the shared heritage that unites Europe while honouring the distinct character of each nation's traditions.
