About this event

A presentation of the German poets Goethe, Eichendorff, Heine and Hesse in English and German, showcasing poetry in translation and including a filmed puppet show of the Faust Saga. This is the Year of Reading with a special focus on poetry around World Poetry Day. Translation and the puppets make these poems accessible to the non-German speaker, providing an insight into German literature. The presentation will be in German and English. Donation event to support the German Church.
